Validator Setup Overview

In DocView Capture, Validator Setup defines the rules to verify the accuracy and validity of extracted data after capture.

Validator Setup determines:

• What validation logic to apply (e.g., Regular Expression, Script Validation, Multi-Field Validation)
• How to check that extracted values meet specific formats, patterns, or business rules
• Prevents incorrect or incomplete data from passing to downstream processes

Validators are assigned to fields during Field Setup, enabling the system to automatically validate captured values as part of document processing.

Proper validator setup improves data integrity and minimizes manual corrections across all captured documents.
