Import a Batch Setup
You can import a batch setup using the Batch Setup tree view tab and the Batch Setup Import window.

- After importing, the batch setup must be published before it can be used.
- Any custom scripts associated with the batch setup may need to be recompiled after import.
- The Import window displays the results of the import process.
Steps to Import a Batch Setup
1. Navigate to the Batch Setup Tree View
- Go to the Batch Setup tree view tab.
2. Select a Batch Setup
- Click on the batch setup where you want to import the new setup.
3. Open the Context Menu
- Right-click on the selected batch setup to open the context menu.
- From the menu, select Batch Setup Import.
4. Open the XML File
- A popup window will appear. Click the Tree View tab to open File Explorer.
- Navigate to the folder containing your exported
.xmlbatch setup files. - Select the desired
.xmlfile and click Open.
5. Unpack the XML File
- The Import window will display. The selected
.xmlfile is automatically unpacked and prepared for import. - Progress and results are shown in the Unpacking Results section.
- When finished, you will see the message:
Unpacking done. Completed.
6. Select a File Type
- Choose one of the following options:
- Save duplicate to New Name
- Replace duplicates with Items Imported
- Do Not import duplicates
- Click Import to proceed.
WARNING
Importing a batch setup that conflicts with existing setups may overwrite data if duplicates are replaced. Confirm your selection carefully.
