Field Setup Overview

In DocView Capture, Field Setup defines how specific data points are extracted from documents during the capture process.

Field Setup determines:

• What kind of data to extract (e.g., Invoice Number, Date, Amount)
• Where the system should locate the field on the document
• How to recognize or validate the data (e.g., format, confidence level, or lookup values)

Fields are assigned to form types within document classes, allowing the system to accurately extract structured data from multiple document formats.
