Locator Setup Overview
In DocView Capture, Locator Setup defines how and where specific data fields are extracted from documents during processing.
Locator Setup determines:
- What locator method to apply (e.g., Format Locator, Invoice Header Locator, Vendor Locator, Evaluation Locator, Azure Invoice Locator, Fixed Zone Locator, Barcode Locator)
- Supports automatic data extraction by minimizing manual input and improving data accuracy
Locators are assigned to fields during Field Setup, enabling the system to intelligently locate and extract data from document images or electronic files.
NOTE
Proper locator setup increases data capture accuracy and speeds up document processing by automating field extraction.
