Delete a Formatter Setup

To delete a formatter setup, follow the steps below:

1. In the Formatter Setup list, right-click an existing setup.
2. From the context menu, select Formatter Setup Delete.
3. After clicking Formatter Setup Delete, a confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Yes to confirm, then click OK to proceed.

WARNING

If the formatter is still assigned to any document class or field, the system will prevent deletion and display a warning message: “Formatter is referenced by a document! Cannot delete the selected formatter.”

To successfully delete a formatter:

1. First, unassign or remove the formatter from all document fields and classes where it is currently in use.
2. Once no references exist, repeat the deletion process.

This safeguard ensures that essential formatter logic tied to active document processing is not accidentally removed.
